Thoughts?

So I took another look at the layout of this sketch last night, and have to say I'm a little torn. Originally, I fully intended the city scape background to be upside-down as shown in yesterdays post, because I enjoy the thought of a skewed perspective to force the viewer to be engaged in order to figure out exactly what is going on. However, after looking at the image reversed, I can't deny the fact that I am enjoying the weight, and tension that occurs with the background placed right side up. I really am conflicted. Anyone out there have any thoughts?

Elvis

A few weeks ago, I took my first trip to Vegas for a wedding. Due to some obligations, I wasn't able to do quite as much Vegas touristing as I would have wish. Which was completely fine. The trip was a ton of fun. However, I was a little disappointed I didn't see Elvis. So, I felt the need to make one of my own. Still looking for time to add some color, but these days that may never happen. Enjoy

Empire

Not to long ago I was lucky enough to take my first trip to New York City. The city is completely amazing and very inspiring. I spend the majority of my free time there taking as many pictures as I possibly could in an attempt to bottle that inspiration. Above is the first, of what I hope to be many, creations based off of that trip (9" x 24" Acrylic on canvas). Hope you enjoy. Below is a few process photo for those of you who like to see that sort of stuff. Personally, I love seeing process.
