Happy Memorial Day.

Wow where does the time go? In honor of Memorial Day I thought I would show a study I did almost 2 years ago when I was trying to figure out a visual style for ATTU. There are some anatomy problems but this sketch was never meant for anything more than working out an inking style. Enjoy.

Senator Kyl, Republican, AZ

I tried something a little different with this one, but I'm not sure I'm a fan yet. I was however, very excited to see there's a Senator Kyl, because that's 3/4 the way to Senator KYLE.

Now Available in Color!

Above should be the finished Rocketeer colors. I wanted to do a little more with it but time was ticking away. Enjoy.

Left to Die

So I found this abandoned Superman drawing the other day in a stack of papers. It's from way back in my college days. I'm rather confident I won't be finishing it, but I though ya all might enjoy seeing it.

Old Study

I was digging through some old boxes this weekend, and came across this old inking study I did a few years back for Attu. There are some obvious flaws, but I still like some of the energy. Enjoy.

Senator Kerry, Democrat, MA

I'd also like to take this time to tell everyone about this really amazing blog I came across the other day called Comic Twart. Basically, it's a site where a group of professional artist have gotten together to pick/ draw a character of the week. I'm finding it extremely interesting seeing everyones unique depiction of the same character. If you have a minute I highly recommend you check it out.

More inks

Still nothing new to show, so I thought I'd continue showing the original art for my covers. Above are the inks and finished art for Attu chapter one.
