I was digging through some old papers the other day and found this forgotten Attu preliminary sketch drawn in 2008. There are definitely a few spots I would fix now, but overall I'm still happy with it. A rare occasion for 4 year old work.

A little update on Attu issue 2 for the two of you who care. While it's been a much longer journey to completion than I ever would have imagined, Attu issue 2 is wrapping up nicely. Sadly, I can't give a release date yet, but I can say the book is still moving forward and that it will see the light at the end of the printing tunnel eventually. A big thank you to all who picked up the first issue. Hopefully you'll enjoy the second when it comes out.

What happened to July???

I feel I should take moment and apologize to the few followers of this blog for my lack of new posts July. I spent the past month pushing hard on the latest issue of ATTU, and simply put, I don't have anything ready to show yet. I've got a great momentum going on ATTU right now, and don't want it to stop by working on other projects. I promise I'll post again when things are ready. Until than, thanks for you patiences.

Wow where does the time go? In honor of Memorial Day I thought I would show a study I did almost 2 years ago when I was trying to figure out a visual style for ATTU. There are some anatomy problems but this sketch was never meant for anything more than working out an inking style. Enjoy.

I was digging through some old boxes this weekend, and came across this old inking study I did a few years back for Attu. There are some obvious flaws, but I still like some of the energy. Enjoy.

So life as been really busy for me, and I'm still working on stuff that I can't show at the moment, but I haven't forgotten about this blog. I thought I'd try to make up for my lack of posting last week, with a little wow from Attu: Chapter one.

I spent my weekend breaking down the new script. Looks like the new issue is going to be 44 pages. It's going to be a lot of work, but I'm really looking forward to it.

Good news for both you Attu fans! I received the script for chapter 2 last night! Weighing in at over 40 pages, this mega size issue is going to be well worth the wait. As for the rest of the 6.7 billion people in this world who haven't read Attu chapter one, now is the perfect time to pick up a copy.
