Oil Paint - try #1

Tried my hand for the first time at oil paints this weekend. Results are a bit of a mixed bag. Some areas I like, but others got over worked and a bit muddy. Overall though I liked the medium so my fingers crossed the next time goes better.

Empire

Not to long ago I was lucky enough to take my first trip to New York City. The city is completely amazing and very inspiring. I spend the majority of my free time there taking as many pictures as I possibly could in an attempt to bottle that inspiration. Above is the first, of what I hope to be many,creations based off of that trip (9" x 24" Acrylic on canvas). Hope you enjoy. So as you may or may not know, I've been rather busy the past few weeks. However, things are starting to finish up, and I'm ready to start showing a few of the projects I've been working on. See above for the first. While I still have a couple of paintings remaining, I'm pleased to announce that I received the new Safe Haven script the other day, and have started working on that as well.
